Driving FastStats forward at the 2008 User Group Conference
- The second FastStats User Group Conference was held on Friday 14th November 2008 at the Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon, Warwickshire. This popular one day event attracted over 90 FastStats partners and customers to this prestigious venue so that they could learn more about FastStats and have an input into the future development of the software.
- Highlights of the day included:
» "FastStats Development Update" from Apteco Managing Director, James Alty » "Excelsior Showcase" highlighting the best reports created by FastStats users, from Ray Kirk at Apteco » Case study on KIA Motors UK, presented by Scott Logie from Occam and John Bache from KIA » Discussion on the "Data Driven Strategy" from Neal Rimay-Muranyi at EuroDirect » Thought provoking session about "Green Marketing" from Keith Jones at Qbase Data Services
- During the day delegates had plenty of time to wander around the world's largest collection of historic British cars. 12 lucky competition winners also had the pleasure of been driven around the venue’s 4 x 4 track in a Land Rover.
- James Alty comments: “It was great to see so many dedicated FastStats users in one place. We held our first user group conference last year at Warwick Castle, which proved so popular that we wanted to increase the scale of the event this year. With almost double the number of delegates the event was a resounding success and not only did our users get to learn more about the FastStats suite of products, we also gained valuable feedback about what FastStats needs to do in the future to support marketers with their strategic direct marketing plans and digital campaigns moving forward.”
