Protyre and Purple Agency are nominated for two DBM awards

Faststats customer Protyre and Apteco partner the Purple Agency are nominated for two DBM awards

The Purple Agency has been recognised by the Database Marketing Awards for their work providing leading tyre retailer ProTyre with a FastStats driven Single Customer View database. The project has been nominated in two categories: Innovation in Insight Driven Direct Mail and Innovation in Analytics for Marketing. It’s the second time in the award’s five year history that the agency has achieved finalist places in two categories.

Commenting for the Purple Agency, Andrew Woodger, Data and Planning Director, says:

“In a year with a record number of entries – and according to the organisers a record in terms of the quality of those entries – Purple has been awarded two finalist places, that both recognise our work with Protyre. Using data from over 800,000 customers we have helped them to build personalised motoring journey for each individual customer. The Protyre database and their FastStats Discoverer analysis and targeting tools now enables them to send accurately timed communications to each customer, designed to coincide with when their car’s MOT or service is due – and using predictive models, when they are likely to need new tyres or brakes - all based on their individual motoring behaviour. A truly personalised approach to helping customers care for their car.”

Simon Hiorns Director of Retail at Protyre, adds:

“Our goal is to provide a VIP service for each and every customer. By using customer data intelligently, we can not only keep our customers safe on the road, but we can ensure that they always get the best deals available when they need them. The fact that our customers are giving us market leading NPS (Net Promoter Scores) of 84 per cent – better than many leading retail brands – is a clear indication that it works. To get recognition from our peers – in the shape of these two award nominations – is a further powerful indicator that our investment in focusing on the customer is paying dividends above and beyond its commercial success.”

Protyre is the retail arm of Micheldever Tyre Services. Based in Winchester and founded in 1972, Micheldever Tyre Services is the UK’s largest independent wholesaler, distributor and retailer of tyres. Its Protyre retail arm operates 71 retail centres and sells over a million individual tyres a year.

Simon Fletcher, Business Development Director of Apteco comments;

“It is fantastic that The Purple Agency is delivering great results with their FastStats clients and this is gaining the acknowledgement of prestigious awards such as the Database Marketing Awards. The Purple Agency are one of our longest standing partners and they have achieved the FastStats Designer Accreditation and been nominated as a Best Use of FastStats finalist. We wish them the best of luck with their recent nominations.”
