Apteco coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic update

Posted: 17 Mar 2020

Apteco is pleased to assure you that we are able and committed to maintaining business operations as usual during the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.

As a team we are focussed on supporting our customers and partners, while also ensuring the safety and well-being of our colleagues and wider community. We are now stopping non-essential contact with others by working at home to help stop the spread of the virus and protect the most vulnerable. We want to wish our partners, customers and their families all the best at this difficult time.

Please note the following:

Staff & working practices

- Following the government’s announcement yesterday about working from home where possible and avoiding non-essential contact with others, Apteco staff will now be remote working until further notice.

- Home-working has been part of our culture for the last few years, so we have the equipment, systems and experience to expand this type of work. All Apteco UK staff are equipped with VOIP headsets and webcams. This means we can continue to have effective meetings and collaboration while working in dispersed locations.

- We have expanded our IP telephony system with physical handsets positioned and connected at home locations. We have reconfigured our phone system to include home workers in call groups so they will be able to answer support and general phone calls.

Training courses

- We are not running our public scheduled training courses on premise at our office in Warwick until further notice. However, the Apteco training team is still ready and able to help with online training an alternative where appropriate. Contact training@apteco.com with any enquiries.

Business continuity plan

We have prepared a business continuity plan for our partners. This is available in the login area of apteco.com.
