Apteco partner Alchemetrics shortlisted in Marketing&Tech Innovation Awards

Apteco partner Alchemetrics has started 2016 in style with its first award nomination of the year bagged before the end of January. The multi-award winning SCV marketing database specialist has been shortlisted in the international 2016 Marketing&Tech Innovation Awards, set to be held in New York on 10th March.

The Berkshire-based firm has been shortlisted in the Marketing Technologist category in recognition of the innovative marketing-driven approach its entrepreneurial founder and Chairman Francis Wallinger has taken in the technical development of Alchemetrics’ informa SCV platform.

All entries were reviewed and scored by the Direct Marketing News and The Hub editorial staff, as well as a panel of analysts and senior marketers that includes past winners, 40 Under 40, and Marketing Hall of Femme winners.

The company’s Managing Director Dave Gurney said:

“2015 was one of the most successful years in Alchemetrics’ history and it looks like 2016 is shaping up to be even bigger and better, Francis is a complete inspiration both within the company and in the wider industry, and I’m absolutely thrilled to see his name on the shortlist of a high-profile international awards programme like the Marketing&Tech Innovation Awards.”

The informa SCV database is a truly flexible omni-channel marketing automation platform that gives marketers the control they need over their customer data, allowing them to deliver personalised experiences across any device at any time. It utilises Apteco’s FastStats software and it is aimed at SMEs with 1-5 million records and is currently used by a wide range of companies including The Restaurant Group, William Grant & Sons and OgilvyOne.

Gurney added:

“We’re on a mission to provide software with a service to companies with a real passion for personalised marketing, but who perhaps don’t have hefty analytical capabilities. We’ve invested £2m in informa in recent years to make it an even more sophisticated and intelligent platform for marketers across the world, and we can’t wait to head to New York and cheer on Francis for making all that possible.”

Melanie Davis, Marketing Manager at Apteco comments:

“Alchemetrics are a long standing partner who we have worked closely with for many years. We wish them the best of luck with the awards in New York and are delighted that they have been recognised for their marketing innovation and technical expertise.”
