Course overview
This course covers all aspects of server and web service configuration, including software launch mechanisms, user authentication and security, control databases, Apteco platform services, data storage areas and backups. Upon completion, you will have an operational FastStats.NET server and the knowledge necessary to configure, maintain and update the server installation.
Who is it for?
Delegates should have server administrative experience (setting up users/groups/security settings). Experience with IIS (Internet Information Services) is an advantage.
Note that physical or RDP access to the servers allocated for the FastStats System and Web Service, with administrative permissions, is necessary, along with a SQL user account with permissions to create and update databases. If the system to be installed is a client system, this should have been built and made available through FastStats Designer.
What's included?
Full course documentation is available, and the course is entirely hands-on, with practical exercises to reinforce learning. Learners who attend the live training will receive a certificate on completion.
Course format
This course is offered on a per organisation basis and consists of 2 online sessions of approximately 3.5 hours each.
