Orin helps to keep the conversation flowing

Orin now automatically responds in the language you use to ask a question. If you switch languages during a conversation, Orin seamlessly follows your lead, creating a more natural and accessible experience for multilingual teams. Regional preferences are also respected throughout Orbit, ensuring dates, numbers and currencies are formatted according to your configured locale settings. For generated summaries, including dashboard and campaign summaries, Orin uses the language configured in your Orbit regional settings.

Audience creation becomes more flexible with support for exclusion criteria. Previously, Orin could only build audience definitions using inclusion rules, limiting the complexity of audience requests. You can now describe both inclusion and exclusion criteria in a single prompt, allowing Orin to create audiences that exclude specific geographies, behaviours, contact preferences and more, alongside your positive selection criteria.

Orin can now create audiences using dynamic date logic, helping audiences stay relevant over time without requiring manual updates. Supported date options include predefined date ranges such as today, yesterday and last year, custom ranges combining relative and fixed dates, relative date rules based on days, weeks, months or years and fixed dates and date ranges. This enhancement makes it easier to create always-current audiences for recurring campaigns and reporting.

A smarter way to stay connected

Orbit now connects directly to CiviCRM through its native API, making contact and organisational data immediately available for analysis and campaigning without manual exports. After connecting, you can choose exactly which tables and fields to include in your dataset. Advanced users can further refine data extraction using JSON queries to apply filtering, select fields and create joins between CiviCRM entities.

Orbit now helps administrators to manage server storage more effectively by automatically keeping their system tidy. When the Repair option is used within the Orbit Updater Configurator, temporary repair backup files older than 30 days are automatically removed. This prevents unnecessary storage consumption while preserving all recent repair backups for recovery purposes.

Enhanced dashboards, pattern analysis, and behavioural modelling for deeper insights

Dashboard users can now exclude categories from filters in dashboard charts. Excluded values are automatically added as "Is none of" conditions, making it faster to refine audiences without manually editing filter definitions. Multiple exclusions are grouped together logically, ensuring filtering behaves as expected while remaining easy to understand.

FastStats pattern matching now supports time markers, enabling transactional behaviours to be identified within specific periods regardless of where they occur in an individual's history. Time markers add a new level of flexibility to behavioural analysis, making it easier to uncover meaningful trends and lifecycle journeys.

Behavioural modelling can now analyse selection scenarios for both actions and inactions. Previously, modelling required an active event, such as a campaign response. You can now model inactive behaviours, such as the absence of a response, and optionally follow these with subsequent events. These enhancements provide a richer understanding of customer behaviour and improve predictive modelling opportunities.

FastStats now supports multi-factor authentication (MFA) using one-time passcodes generated by authenticator applications such as Microsoft Authenticator and Google Authenticator. By requiring both a password and a time-limited verification code, MFA provides additional protection against password theft, credential reuse and brute-force attacks. Users can enrol themselves by scanning a QR code from the Manage OTP option within Change Password settings.

Deliver smarter campaigns with greater control

Orbit now supports A/B testing directly within campaign journeys, helping you identify the most effective email before rolling it out to the wider audience. Configure a test audience, assign different email versions and define a testing period. Once complete, Orbit presents engagement statistics so you can confidently select the winning version before sending it to the remainder of your audience. For multi-stage campaigns, all recipients automatically rejoin a single path once testing concludes, ensuring journeys continue seamlessly.

A new Hold participants option allows campaign members to remain at the end of a journey indefinitely rather than exiting automatically. This is particularly useful for triggered-event campaigns where individuals progress at different times. Participants can remain available within the journey until a trigger event determines their next action or exit point.

Folder-level constraints introduce a new way to centrally manage communication limits across groups of campaigns. Rather than configuring constraints individually for each campaign, you can now define rules once at folder level and automatically apply them to every campaign and subfolder beneath it. This gives organisations stronger governance, improved compliance and greater visibility across campaign activity.

Users viewing Orbit campaigns through PeopleStage will now benefit from enhanced support for displaying increasingly sophisticated Orbit campaign structures, including audience-to-audience connections used within advanced journey flows and more accurate preview counts, with all intermediate journey steps included during calculation.
